Michael Mepham, Overlook Sudoku and Kakuro author (1944-2006)



We're sad to report that Michael Mepham, author of some of the best-selling Overlook books in our history, has died. Here is the Daily Telegraph obit and an article in Editor & Publisher. Our thoughts are with his family. Michael's Suduko books were the first into the American market and helped create the wave of popularity for Japanese puzzles. His enthusiasm and love of the puzzle will be greatly missed.
