Overlookers on the Daily Show...

Dave Gorman, author of DAVE GORMAN'S GOOGLEWHACK ADVENTURE, has landed a regular feature on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart called (ahem...) "Poll Smoking with Dave Gorman" . The book (and the accompanying one-man show) is hilarious, at least I thought so when I saw it last year at the Village Theater. Apparently Stewart checked it out while it was playing in New York and thought so, too, and he ended up recruiting Gorman for the Daily Show. Unfortunately he wasn't there on the same night I was, but so it goes.

Strangely enough, Billy Connolly, Scottish comedian and subject of BILLY (a biography written by Connolly's wife Pamela Stephenson), is the guest tonight, May 10th. Connolly is in New York for his show Billy Connolly Live! at 37 Arts, 450 West 37 Street near 10th Avenue. He will play 20 performances only: May 9 – June 3.
