
Legendary cookbook editor and author Judith Jones is profiled in
The New York Times Dining Section today. Judith's late husband and collaborator, Evan Jones, authored Overlook's seminal
American Food, recently released in a revised and updated paperback edition. Ms. Jones graciously provided a new introduction to the book, which features more than 500 distinctive regional, traditional, and contemporary recipes. No less a figure than James Beard called
American Food "a great addition to American gastronomic lore . . a true joy."
