Gloria Fickling reading from "Honey West: Kiss For a Killer" this weekend

To those of you in Southern California this weekend (I wish I were) check out Gloria Fickling this Saturday, June 3rd at 4:00pm at the Barnes & Noble in Aliso Viejo. Glori will be reading from the latest reissue of the Honey West books she co-wrote with her late husband titled KISS FOR A KILLER.

Honey West starred in eleven novels and had her own Aaron Spelling-produced, Golden Globe–winning TV show in the 1960s starring blonde bombshell Ann Francis. The Ficklings are widely credited with creating American fiction’s first female detective: in 1966, at the height of Honey’s powers, the Encyclopedia Britannica described her as “the leading female fictional character in the world.”

For more on Honey West and Gloria Fickling, follow this link to a pair of profiles, which should make abundantly clear that the event this weekend in Aliso Viejo isn't one to miss.
