Curtis Turner inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America

According to the LA Times, "the late Curtis Turner, a colorful character from NASCAR's earliest days who was a big winner in the convertible division" will be inducted to The Motorsports Hall of Fame of America on Wednesday, August 16.

Robert Edelstein, author of the Curtis Turner biography FULL THROTTLE, will be on hand at the ceremony, as will Curtis' wife Bunny. Turner's was really a fascinating, hard-lived life, very much worth checking out if you're a NASCAR fan, but just as much fun to read if you're not...
