P. G. Wodehouse at Symphony Space

Symphony Space in New York has released their Spring 2007 season preview of their Literature in Performance series, and a celebration of the inimitable P. G. Wodehouse will be the topic of conversation at the Wednesday, March 7, 2007 Thalia Book Club which features "intimate conversations among readers and writers." No panelists have been announced just yet, but you can expect a star cast of local Wodehouse enthusiasts. Get your tickets early.

P. G. Wodehouse has been a perennial favorite here at the blog. If you're so inclined, you can check out a photoset of modern day Wodehousian fops and dandies, or take the always popular test of essential knowledge at the "Wodehouse Character or Baseball Player?" quiz.

Speaking of Wodehouse and baseball, it should be noted that today Sir Wodehouse's hometown team, the New York Mets, have an opportunity to clinch the NL East. Oh, and last night they assured that for the first time since 1990, the Atlanta Braves will not be winning the division. Right ho.
